Análise das bases genéticas e neurobiológicas da Ansiedade e Depressão: um painel de genes candidatos

Anxiety and Depression are currently the two most prevalent psychiatric disorders worldwide, affecting around 30% 16,6% of people, respec[1]tively. Genetic factors play a key role in responsibility for these disorders, with heritability estimates ranging from to 40% anxiety depres[1]sion. Although causes not fully known, many studies seek unravel their genetic bases. In this context, study, through literature review, sought outline an overview mental disor[1]ders, depression, panel focusing on relation[1]ship, presenting possible candidate genes associated both disorders. The bibliographic databases PubMed/Medline, Lilacs, Scientific Electronic Library Online were used, addition obtained by gene analysis GenBank, EMBL-EBI Europe PubMed Central. After applying eligibility criteria, 27 articles etiology, neurobiological bases selected. Thereby, 35 potential have been described. From identification 9 common phenotypes, relevant depression correla[1]tion between phenotypes was analyzed, resulting discussion 20 genes. Among results, we highlighted: NOTCH1, BDNF FKBP5 genes, that related development people exposed early stress; variants SLC6A4, OXTR COMT can lead brain function impairment increase risk adverse psychosocial environments; high activity alleles MAOA gene, also present influence adequate functioning monoamines.
